1. 소개

블리자드에서 워크래프트1,2 리메이크 작업을 한다는 소문이 뜬게 2013년 11월인데
계속 기다리다가 그냥 제가 만든, 워크래프트3에서 실행되는 워크래프트2 입니다.

2014년 10월. 기다리다가 그냥 내가 만들기로 결정. 본격적으로 작업 진행 시작.
2015년 1월. 워크래프트2 인간 캠페인 완료
Next - 워크래프트2 오크, 확장팩 완성 예정. 그 다음은 워크래프트1까지...







기본적으로는 월드오브워크래프트에서 사용하는 명칭을 따르지만, 꼭 100%까지 똑같지는 않습니다.
블리자드 코리아의 한글화 참 멋지지만 100점 만점을 줄 수 없는 이유와 같습니다.
Silver Hand 문양이 저게 뭔지 '은빛 성기사단'이라는 명칭만 생각하면 절대 알 수 없지요.

워크래프트2 ~ 스타크래프트1 시절에는 각 세력별로 상징 색상(팀 컬러) 설정도 쓰곤 했는데
그 후속작들은 그런게 없이 애매모호하게 처리해서 아쉽긴 합니다.



치트키는 아닙니다만 "disco"를 입력하면 특별한 배경음악이 재생되니 한번은 해보세요.






2. 다운로드와 실행

①번 주소 또는 ②번 주소 들어가서 이 중에서 Warcraft2_remake_beta.zip 파일을 다운로드 받으세요.

이것들을 다운로드 받아서 최신버젼의 워크래프트3가 설치된 폴더에 덮어씌우면 됩니다.
기본경로는 C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\ 로 되어있고
정상적으로 다운로드 + 압축풀고 경로에 정확하게 배치를 했다면 파일 2개가 나옵니다.

C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Campaigns\war2h.w3n
C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\war3patch.mpq


war3patch.mpq파일은 워크래프트2에 맞춰져 있기 때문에,
나중에 워크래프트3를 다시 할 상황을 위하여
기존의 war3patch.mpq파일은 따로 보존하셔야 합니다. 또는
워크래프트3 번역교정패치를 받는 방법도 있습니다.


만약 자신의 워크래프트3 버전이 1.18 이후라면
war2h.w3n 파일을 내 문서의 워크래프트3 폴더로 이동하시고
war3patch.mpq 파일의 이름을 war3mod.mpq로 바꾸시면 됩니다.






파일 2개의 경로를 잘 확인하시고

워크래프트3 실행 - 싱글 플레이 - 커스텀 캠페인 - war2 실행하시면 됩니다.



워크래프트2 인간편에는 14개의 미션이 있습니다.



동영상 재생 관련하여 사운드 설정에서 "자막"에 체크해제하여 자막을 꺼주세요.

- 워크래프트2 스토리에 대한 입장



1994년 워크래프트1. 1995년 워크래프트2. 1996년 워크래프트2 확장팩.
20년전에 나온 스토리가 현재까지 온전히 보존되기란 어렵습니다.

설정변경이 심했던 불타는 성전 확장팩 시기에
2007년 워크래프트2 어둠의 물결 : Tides of Darkness
2008년 워크래프트2 확장팩 : 어둠의 문 너머 Beyond of the Dark Portal
등 워크래프트2 게임의 스토리를 새로 쓴 소설책들이 출판되었습니다.

이 워크래프트2 리메이크는 소설들과 무관하며
20년전의 원작을 그대로 따르기 때문에 소설에서 변경된 설정으로 원작을 보시면 여기저기 오류에 빠지는 것 고려하시길 바랍니다.

스타크래프트 리마스터가 그렇듯이, 후속편에서 붙은 설정변경 무시하고 원작은 원작 그대로 재현하는 것을 목표로 삼았습니다.

감사합니다. 즐겜하고 있습니다. 다만 조선소랑 농장이 단축키가 F로 겹친다거나, 조선소를 땅과 물이 겹치는 지점이 아닌 곳에도 지을 수 있는 점 등 가능하시다면 수정 바랍니다

오랜만에 추억돋네요 ㅎㅎ 마지막으로 하나만 보충하자면, 과거 워2때보다 속도감이 약간 덜한듯 합니다. 전체적으로 유닛 공속을 조금씩 올려보는 것은 어떨까요

위엣분같은 분이 또 있을까봐 남김
워3가 1.28인가 이후로 패치되면서 맵폴더가 내문서로 옮겨갔습니다
따라서 글에도 나와있지만 C드라이브가 아닌 내문서에 있는 war3 폴더로 가서 거기에 복사붙여넣기 해야됨

추억을 찾다가 우연히 찾은 킹덤언더파이어(티브이에서 대회도 보곤했는데 초딩때라 잊고있었음 워크2인줄 알고 찾아헤멨던 겜.. 국산겜이란 거에 ㄷㄷ) 캠페인 재밌게 다끝내고 현타왔음

인간편 어려움 정주행 끝났습니다!

적들 업글이랑 오우거 블러드러스트가 너무 좋아서 아군 보병진이 버티질 못해서 후반에는 가성비 좋은 함선+노포만 적당히 섞어서 2개로만 밀었네요ㅋㅋ

중간중간에 로데론과 노세론을 병기하여 쓴 거나, 마지막 미션에서 농부로 조선소를 지을 수가 없어서 그리폰라이더로 밀었어야 했다는 것 제외하고는 정말 완성도가 높은 리메이크에요!

덕분에 재밌게 잘했습니다~
